Knight Ceremonies once again had a stand at Pride in Surrey's summer event, and this time the carnival atmosphere came to Camberley.

With a Pride procession gathering speed (and numbers) through the streets from the town centre to the field, the feeling was one of pure excitement!  It is quite the thing to see and hear thousands of people approaching, and as they all descended on Watchetts Recreation Ground on Sat 27th August 2022, the Knight Ceremonies team were ready to welcome EVERYONE.

We are a proud Pride Official Partner and were delighted to support this local event for a second time.

Sat amongst some truly wonderful stallholders, we had a rather colourful stand, complete with inflatable flamingos on top, to make finding us that little bit easier!

The space was a riot of colour and full of the most incredible and friendly local businesses and organisations.

We were fortunate to meet such wonderful people all throughout the day, but it was when the lovely Will and Andrew came to the stand that the afternoon became very interesting.

After Louise and Teona from the team had chatted with them for a while, we suggested that they celebrate the (almost) three decades together, and have a renewal of vows handfasting as a symbol of their continued love for one another.

They agreed, and the ladies set about conducting a lovely mini-ceremony on the stand, complete with a rainbow handfasting and signing of a keepsake certificate.  It was such a wonderful moment and so lovely to meet them both.

We wish them and all of the fab couples that we met, a wonderful, happy, and love-filled future together.
