Brrrrr, it is so cold right now, but despite the drop in temperature outside, things are about to heat up! In the wonderful world of weddings, we are fast approaching the busiest time in the calendar for enquiries, as the vast majority of newly engaged couples will contact me following festive proposals.
It is such a romantic time, with open fires, twinkling fairy lights, and mince pies (hidden rings inside!) featuring in many a proposal story. I just love hearing how my couples reached this part of their journey together. Whether you are planning a proposal on ice (think huddled together on an ice rink, with festive music, and a lovely Christmassy feel!), or by the fire with nobody else around (just you and the mulled wine!), make it a special one, and be sure to carry this through when considering your wedding plans.
With the trend in bespoke and personal ceremonies on the rise, why not consider something special and have your ceremony in a location that is meaningful to you both. What about a wonderful outdoor setting, by a lake, or with a stunning view, or in a magical woodland location? Why not have wording that reflects you as a couple, and have your story told.
If you aren't looking for a church wedding, and don't particularly like the idea of having standardised government wording, spoken by a stranger, then a celebrant-led ceremony could be for you!
My ceremonies are crafted during a creative process with you very much involved, and we weave elements of you both into the writing. I get to know you both and we have fun putting together all of the details for your bespoke ceremony. I have lots of great ideas of ways in which to involve key guests, or indeed to include family traditions or customs too.
