Wow, what a scorcher of a wedding! The sun shone for the whole weekend here at this super venue in the Surrey Countryside.
This was the first of my two weddings this weekend at Gildings Barn and the bride and groom are just the loveliest pair. The ceremony took place outside, with the Granary Barn as our backdrop and the blue skies overhead.
Having met them well over a year ago, we worked together to create a really lovely intimate ceremony, with a single cord handfasting and a wonderful poem from Pam Ayres which was read by their close friend. With a team of only four, they transformed the barn for their afternoon tea, and it looked sensational.
Having overcome some tough obstacles together, these two have shown resilience and so much love towards one another throughout. They are meant to be together and I just love these two!
"Lyndsey keep that mischevious sense of humour, and Richard keep this amazing lady wrapped up in your love. . ."
It was a magnificent day for my couple and I was so happy for them both. Congrats Mr & Mrs Mayo, and I truly wish you both lots of love and happiness always. x
