Destination Wedding at the stunning Cain Manor (Surrey)

My wedding at the stunning Cain Manor in Surrey yesterday was the first of three taking place this weekend, and for such a fun pair!

An Australian born bride and British groom currently residing in Melbourne, but came over for a quintessentially English wedding in the beautiful Surrey countryside.  Guests traveled from Australia, America and from all over the UK to share in this special day, and they were all so overjoyed to see their friends getting married, and in such amazing surroundings.

There are several ceremony settings at this amazing venue, and after I had visited the location and sent them a video clip of the two options that best suited their requirements, they chose a lovely intimate spot with the countryside views beyond, and surrounded by the stunning planting in the gardens to the back of the manor house.

Over the course of many months, I built up a great rapport with this couple using skype and email to communicate ideas and create a really lovely, warm and personal ceremony script. Both sets of parents 'gave the couple away', we had two lovely readings (one of which I have never heard before but it was wonderful!), a lovely personal account of the couples journey from meeting right up until their wedding day, and a spectacular surprise for both mums.  It was warm, fun, and full of their personalities, a truly lovely day.

Anna and Matt were overjoyed with the ceremony, and had even written me a lovely card (as well as providing me with a private suite and lunch when I arrived !), and it really was great to see all of our hard work come to fruition on their special day. Guests from overseas commented afterwards that they had been to many weddings and seen many Australian celebrants before but that this ceremony was beautiful and perfectly suited the couple.  Feedback like this is heart warming, and it is lovely to know that it was received so well.
