Last summer I was invited to attend a wedding and to write and conduct the third of three ceremonies at the stunning Botleys Mansion in Surrey.
The bride was from Hindu faith and the groom was British, and so their celebrations were embracing all elements of their union. They were legally wed in the morning, then prepared for a colourful Hindu Garland ceremony, and the day was then rounded off with their British celebrant-led ceremony.
The religious section was a hard act to follow but I wrote a script that was true to this couple, and it was delivered with warmth and humour, and involved all of their guests. It was a spectacular day, and I was honoured to have been a part of their celebrations. Click here to see their photo album.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hesling!
