Wow! What a wonderful start to the day for the amazing Lisa and Darren at yesterday's wedding. I met these two over a year ago, and we enjoyed putting together a really personal ceremony that was reflective of them, their lives, and their love for music.
The final script was oozing with details about their journey, and we embellished this with lovely readings from a close friend and then the Groom's sister, both of whom read beautifully. The ceremony was intimate, love-filled, and lots of fun too. The couple chose to have an unplugged ceremony but also to allow for a fun 60 seconds of photo taking just after they had signed their wedding day certificate with both dads.
We had everyone involved, and by the time they walked back up the aisle, the room was bursting with joy, and their loved ones cheered and clapped as they worked their way to the back of the room.
We closed the ceremony with a receiving line, and then everyone went off for a group photo at the bottom of the iconic staircase at the hotel.
Congrats to Lisa and Darren, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness. You two rock!!
