With recent market statistics indicating that outdoor and tipi/festival weddings are still the most popular settings for a couple's big day, it comes as no surprise that when I look at my bookings for next year, they almost all fit into this category. The results of this industry research revealed that in close second came rustic barns and then manor house venues, with a church ceremony settling into last place.
Looking further ahead, what kind of locations are tipped to be the venue du jour? Well for 2018 I have enquiries for an art gallery, industrial/warehouse space, and two weddings at home. It seems that couples are really turning their attention to creating an ambience that fits their personalities, and using the environment around them (with a few embellishments of course) to provide a more honest backdrop to their day rather than focussing too heavily on additional décor.
You might have a passion for music, and consider an iconic location like the Yamaha building in London and it's beautiful Piano Hall, or how about an historic library, if you have a penchant for all things literary? Why not say your nuptuals on board a plane, or on a roof terrace under the stars?
Wherever my couples choose to hold their special day, I look forward to complimenting this reflection of who they are, with bespoke wording, personal elements, and a warm and engaging delivery on the day.
Be inspired, and let's create unforgettable memories together.
