It was another scorcher today as I prepared the ceremony area for today's wedding at Hambledon House in Surrey. It was a new experience for me, as the couple decided on a paired down mini-ceremony, which still contained some personal details but was an enhancement to their legal declarations, rather than a full ceremonial celebration.

We were situated down by the lake in this gorgeous country estate, with a cooling breeze, blue skies and bright sunshine. I witnessed the longest ever aisle walk (from the house to the lake) accompanied by an acoustic guitarist, and it was like something out of the movies, when the bridal party suddenly became visible over the brow of the hill and through the long grass. The bride looked amazing and the groom was quite the cool chap remaining in his aviator shades during the ceremony!
The family celebrated with their guests back up on the lawns with flutes of champagne and elderflower before moving into a fabulous open sided marquee an ornamental pond.
Congrats to Mr & Mrs Riddlestone!
