I asked my team recently to provide me with some of their favourite settings, and here is the list from Louise. . .
Vintage Romantic Wedding Ceremonies:
I just love vintage vibes and especially weddings, paying a nod to the past and providing so many styling opportunities. You have so much to choose from when using or creating a vintage setting from revamping vintage furniture pieces for décor or buying a vintage dress. Think old-style photobooths, Great Gatsby themes, beautiful birdcages for floral decorations, chintzy bunting and china. Mix vintage with modern in venues like Rivervale Barn, Wasing Park, Old Luxters Barn all lending themselves to this theme.
Woodland Rustic Ceremonies:
Beautiful woodland settings are gorgeous for a more eco-friendly, natural wedding setting, satisfying the more outdoorsy type like me and if there’s the sound of running water as well it’s an added bonus. Think woodland logs around an oasis of trees and small streams in a clearing in the woods surrounded by nature, birdsong, and wild flowers and sprinkled by solar-powered fairy lights. Padworth Common through The Outdoor Party Company has a beautiful woodland venue, Wasing Park has a woodland area, Spirit Lake or Ridge Farm.
Modern
With a love of design, architecture and contemporary settings, how about a wedding up in the clouds with all the five-star trimmings at The Shard, surrounded by views across London through a structural vision. RSA House London incorporates luxury and modernity with a glass domed ceiling and lots of contemporary features or The Barbican, Kew Gardens there is so much to choose from, leaving it up to you how you style. I also love the Aviator in Hampshire for its striking contemporary staircase, and airport runway views!
